These have been around since the summer, apparently, but I just noticed these posters with Kim Yuna over the weekend. The "Be White" Yuna smoothies at Smoothie King made me chuckle.
I only noticed these a few weeks ago myself, ever since I became a fan of the strawberry lemon twist.
Though this is yet another example of how a Korean company, probably with all good intentions mind you, have embarrassed themselves by using an English phrase that when read means something else. In this case if it were taken to the extreme, as a racist comment.

I love smoothie king! I'm going to have to steal one of these posters next time I go in.
It depresses me.
Does anyone remember the fully naked backside of a full-grown woman that Smoothie King used to have in their ads? That's what I'd like to steal.
"Be White," is a line from the end of Sympathy for lady vengence. I think it implies being innocent.
Yeah, looking through news articles it apparently refers to "purity" (퓨어).
