Suncheon English Village across the street?

For a while they've been building a park and some new apartment complexes across the street from Shidae Apartments, the complex where most of the public school teachers in town are housed. According to one news article, which doesn't elaborate, they're putting an English Village in the Lotte Castle (순천 롯데캐슬) plan. Have fun with that.

sweet! you get to have hello shouted at you every time you enter and leave your apartment! That would make me feel special, like a star!

And since English Villages of have proven to be such a spectacular success, I'm sure Brian will get to enjoy, why, days (if not weeks) of this star treatment.

About to teach English in suncheon. How is it?

LOL. I liked living in Suncheon, but that's such a vague question. Search on google and Dave's ESL Cafe to get general information, and feel free to ask again if you have more specific questions.

How is it to live in Suncheon?

No need to shout.

Suncheon is fine. A city of 270,000, considered a small city by Korean standards. Several department stores and western restaurants. Plenty of Korean stuff to do as well, and a number of popular tourist attractions. Transportation is good so you can easily get around town and visit other places in the province and the country.

Again, a general internet search can answer a lot of your basic questions (and I've written a lot about Suncheon here). Feel free to ask any specific questions after you've done some homework.

Sorry, for some reason my ID comes out in CAPITAL LETTERS.
Do you know Mr Kim who works at Gui Nara, located in behind city hall?
Did his 2nd son Jeungho ever clean up his act?
And why hasn't the waesong project progressed any further?
