Still, I think my all-time favorite Kang Ki-kap gallery is this one, courtesy of Korea Beat. Here's another great one. Why does he always look like he's going after Tommy Dreamer?

If you're interested, the Joongang Ilbo profiled him back in November, and brings us this image of him versus Sabu:

That last picture makes him look like a Samurai. Yes, I do mean a true Japanese warrior.
This guy is almost certainly on Kim Jong-il's payroll.
"Pyongyang, November 15 (KCNA) -- A delegation of the Democratic Labor Party of south Korea headed by its representative Kang Ki Gap arrived here today.
It was greeted at the airport by Kim Ji Son, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Korean Social Democratic Party."

Do a search of "Kang Ki-gap" and KCNA and see often often he is favorably quoted. He's like their fucking point man here in the South.
Jamie, this is what an actual samurai looks like:

No, Scott... In my mind, they float over crowds of suit-wearing politicians and pull Matrix-looking moves.
Jamie, I suggest watching a few classic Hong Kong action pics before coming off as such a clueless Orientalist.
