Jeollanam-do festival preview in the KT.

My May festival preview article is in the Korea Times today. I don't often laugh at my own jokes, but I'm pleased with the seventh paragraph.

Dude . .. . SERIOUSLY.

I gagged, no smile, GAGGED . ..

If one of my in-service trainees brings this in to prove that foreigners also believe . .. GAG!!!!

Aww, lighten up "dude." A tongue-in-cheek opener.

This is the seventh paragraph: Many films and television shows have been shot in Damyang's scenic bamboo forest, and not only did they survive, but they're represented by plaques along the eight paths that wind through the site. Catch a bus to the forest from the terminal in Damyang.

I must be ricetarded, because I don't get the joke.

I thought it was a weird edit at first.. but then I counted down to seven and read it again. That made my evening.
