ps) Hurry up please.
None of these can compare to what I consider the greatest Korean job ad of all time, from July 2007, titled "If U R YOUNG & WHITE, U R ALRIGHT":
Wonderful kids! Salary negotiable. Excellent housing in Ori-Station area. Paid vacation. Optional medical insurance. Lunch provided at school. Year-end bonus (if you complete one year). Round-trip airfare to overseas applicants (return ticket only after one-year of employment). Beautiful, modern area. No experience necessary. Come and join the fun!
Please read the following information. Then, if you have any questions or comments, feel free to call Gina Song any time, seven days a week, at 011-9334-4303. Otherwise, to apply, simply email resume with recent, full-body color photo (videos also welcome!) and introduction to addenglish@hanmail.net. We look forward to your response!
We are looking for young (20's), cheerful (smile!) teachers who fit our image of native English-speakers/Americans. By law, you must be a college graduate. Average-weight (or thin) people are preferred. Also, please, no Australians/New Zealanders/Irish/etc. Brits may be considered under special circumstances. (Of course no non-native English speakers or ethnic minorities.) Korean citizens/Kyopos with native-like English skills may be hired temporarily, and college degree is not required of them.
One-year contract required (by law). Please note, however, that cultural differences exist with respect to contracts. Here is a quote from http://www.aacircle.com.au/teach-in-korea.htm:
"English teachers in Korea occasionally have contract disputes with their employers. In the Korean context, a contract is simply a rough working agreement, subject to change depending upon the circumstances. Most Koreans do not view deviations from a contract as a breach of contract, and few Koreans would consider taking an employer to court over a contract dispute." We don't think you will take us to court, either!
On a lighter note, our current foreign teachers are great to work with. Just ask Gina for contact info to find out first-hand what the teachers think about working at Bundang Kids Club! ^^
(Not necessarily affiliated with other institutes that also use the name, "Kids Club".)
Remember to feel free and call Gina anytime, seven days a week, if you have, um, questions or comments.

Ha ha ha. "If you last a year." These are good fun.
Turkey female. I love it.
No fatties need apply!! Full body picture required.
The English Spectrum job postings cost money, right? If not, I suspect this one is an early April Fools gag. Nevertheless, inspired me to action for a second time. I'll deal with this in the morning, if no one else has (and me stating so thus guarantees no one else will^^).
Brian,
While I think it's great, this effort to shame these people into changing the content of their ad's, I'm not sure how constructive it is given Korean employer's insistence on a color photo.
Whether or not they say so in the ads, we all know what will happen when a black, brown or yellow person sends in their photo... they will be ignored, or they will be offered less money because of their skin color.(I've seen ads saying, "Job in XX,Korea 2.2 million. Black or African-Americans may apply, 1.9 million")
My fear is all that this (i.e. bugging these racist employers) will do is waste the time of non- young, white people who will be fooled into thinking their potential employer is non-discriminatory.
The very people you are ostensibly trying to help.
I guess I failed to make a point there, so here it is:
Don't post their contact info, and don't ask them to take their racist ad. Prospective employees have a right to know that their potential employer likes to discriminate.
I for one, am a young, white, thin, brown haired, blue eyed English teacher who would NEVER reply to such an ad, and I suspect I'm not alone.
Not simply because of the principle behind it, but because I don't want to work for a racist.
I see your point, matt, but I prefer to threaten lawsuits.
I live in Bundang and one subway stop away from this place. I should check in and see just how much of a fun time these foreigners are having, haha.
