Some bizarre goings-on in a Pennsylvania Korean church.

I'm surprised this mess didn't dissolve into one of those free for alls that is seen when politicians gather in South Korea.

This sort of situation is not uncommon in Korean churches overseas. Yes, this is a wee bit extreme but you can find numerous similar happenings at any Korean Church. Everyone wants to be an established leader of a Korean community which leads to these fights.

Goes a little like this:
Immigrate, join a Korean church, make some friends, be a general dickhead at church, claim the pastor is unable to lead a congregation, go off and start your own church then reap the rewards of being an upstanding Korean American Christian pillar.

I have seen it happen several times in the three years that I spent around the Korean community in Canada.
