I enjoyed reading your blog on missionaries. My father, Joe B. Hopper, was raised in Mokpo in the 1920's. He was born in Kwangju which was the closest mission hospital. After graduating from Pyongyang Foreign School in 1938 he returned to Korea in 1948 for 38years as a missionary in Chonju (Jeonju) Chulla Pukdo. His book, 38 YEARS BELOW THE 38TH, tells of his life there.

Are they the same pictures every year or do people not learn? Is that a tornado alley? A perfect place to put a trailer park!
