Late notice about this, but after attending the Sungbin Bake Sale at the Gwangju International Center, if you're looking for something to do in town on Saturday there will be a yodel concert at the Gwangju Culture & Arts Center (광주문화예술회관) in Unam-dong. It starts at 7:00 pm in the small theater (소극장), and is put on by the Gwangju Berner Oberland Yodel Club (광주오버란드요델클럽), and I'm not ashamed to say I didn't know such a club existed.

Damned cosmopolitan place, Gwangju is. Next thing you know they'll be importing one of our blue collar traditions.
and as a swiss natioanl, I can assure you that theses guys are actually pretty good:)
I actually would have liked to have seen this. Wonder if any readers went. I'll have to look around for some video later.
