JoongAng Daily looking for senior editor junior copy editors.

* Update: Well, a half a day later the ad's been changed in a significant way:
The JoongAng Daily is looking for junior copy editors.
The successful junior copy editor will be a native English speaker with a four-year college diploma.
Annual salary and fringe benefits will be negotiated individually. Please send a cover letter and resume with a scanned photo to enational@joongang.co.kr.

I've turned comments back on.

Original post:

As the pop-up on the JoongAng Daily website says, they're looking for a senior editor. The applicant should be a native English speaker, should have significant experience writing and editing with English dailies, and, as is par for the Korean course, should include a photo with their application.

For the sake of cleanliness and organization, comments are off here and can be added to the discussion under Sunday's post about the opening at the Herald.

Sounds like they promoted someone... or realized they didn't want to pay for the senior editor...

Your second idea sounds about right.

The photo is probably the deciding factor, as they'll probably do an article on the 'winner'

Though it sounds like an important job, it also sounds like an awful job.
