From Yonhap.
In what has long been an annoying habit of English-language publications in Korea, the JoongAng Daily tells us about a tomato festival, after it's finished. The other Gwangju---the small city in Gyeonggi-do, not the big one down south---held its annual Tomato Festival (퇴촌토마토축제) from June 18th - 20th. So, um, I hope you went. Here is a collection of photographs from internet news sites.

Wrote about it last June: http://briandeutsch.blogspot.com/2009/06/get-ready-for-gwangju-tomato-festival.html
Actually we had the luxury of going twice! On saturday as a start to our trip to YangPyeong we stumbled across it. The following day we returned the same way so went again for the benefit of the in-laws who missed it the first time!
There was at least one other waygook family I saw of, not sure how they found out about it??
So what did you do there? Were adults in the tomato pit, too?
