I've written over 2,100 posts since the blog started in September, 2007, for an average of 2.5 a day, and last year I had nearly 1,200, so there's plenty to read through if you're in the mood. Hell, if you haven't read it before it's new to you. If you start from the beginning and do 70 a day, that should about do it, and should keep my numbers up. *cough* You might also have noticed on the bottom of the page is a "view random post" button I added in November, so go and give that a try, too. Thanks for your patience and understanding.
Feel free to email me stuff or send me things via Facebook or Twitter, but please understand that I won't be responding to, or looking at, anything blog-related until sometime in February. Maybe I'll do a big post next month with all the stuff my inbox has collected. Thanks for your patience, and for keeping me in your reader and on your blogroll.

What're you studying for?
Kushibo should be grateful for the extra traffic in your absence.
Kushibo is too busy being on vacation to do anything except repeatedly post pictures of that one coffee shop that gives him free Internet access and talk about how great it is.
Yeah, what are you studying?
@ John
Nice.
There's going to be a big vacuum in the Korea-related blog'o'sphere for a while. You've been a machine, Brian.
Since you are so busy, I insist that you ignore this comment.

Well, that's too bad.
In the meantime I'd like to invite people to check out my cranky blog. One difference being I'm in the Busan area.
Thank you Brian. I need to study too and your blog is a HUGE distraction :)
@ John from Daejeon
Not necessarily. If you have this website at your fingertips, you have no reason to read his Loose Change or whatever.
I think your blog has surpassed Marmot's Hole in being the most useful info source in Korea.
Have a nice rest:)
I say in the absence of editorial control, people speculate wildly as to what BIJ is studying for. My guess: Korean civil servant exam.
My guess is that he's writing a dissertation on how the Sea of Japan should be called 일본해 in Korean since there is no East Sea in the world.
after your one month break, will you be making a comeback?
(verification: bilently)
Ok....listen up, bitches. Brian is taking the month off and I am in charge of the commnts section. So don't leave any stupid comments or I will look up your IP address and come and beat you down Caprini Greens straight up gangsta style. So be cool. Be cool, bitches.
Especially that faggot who run the gay Korean baseball website. How are the shower room interviews, bitch?
Brian, in your absence, I'll include a WWBB (what would Brian blog) feature. It will be posts complaining/mocking strange Konglish, funny hats, and K-pop.
Adeel, to be fair, I also posted about the 80°F pool I was in.
Brian, good luck on whatever it is you're studying.
Enjoy your sabbatical, Brian; and thanks for all the free ice cream.
Thanks, andrew, I feel that way a lot of times, too.
Tasshin, oooh, I just noticed you linked your new site. Sorry I missed it.
I wasn't studying for the Korean civil service exam, but that would have been awesome. No, I'll be posting in a few days or a week about what I was doing. Most of the posts I put up during January were post-dated, save for the one about the tossers, the "go home and screw" policy, and Rev. Linton. Nice to have some time off from the site, and upon returning I saw that I didn't really miss a whole lot (and didn't miss the site much either).
