Korea's Katrina?

More cranio-rectal inversion from the columnist who justified anti-Japanese abuse in the name of the Liancourt Rocks, who fantisized in the Korea Times of Japan being annihilated by North Korea, who championed Putin as a friend of Korea and balance to "ruthless market economy," and who has apparently written under the influence of LSD on several occassions.

Woe it be to we who are treated to another brain fart by Kim Heung-sook.

New Orleans (and don't forget about Bioxi) was 80% damaged. All Seoul lost was...a old wooden 2-story gate.
Unless the Bush Administration is her mathematician, 80% does no = 0.00001%

Yes, they're choked up about it. Yes, it was national landmark #1, and the government malfeasances were almost as much to blame as the arsionist (no guards? srlsly?). But to compare it to Hurricane FEMA?! She has gone TOO FAR! Well, she always goes too far, appparently...

When my Korean co-worker asked me what monument compares to Nandemeum gate, I told him I'd say Mt. Rushmore. Ok, the Statue of Liberty is in the running, but we didn't actually build that. And the Washington Monument is just a penis sticking out of the ground. So there.

How kind of her to leave her e-mail address. I'll be sure to pass it on to any number of folks who have a divergent set of opinions
