Sitting in my motel room after an excellent trip to Danyang's Gosu Cave. I just wanted to pass along this insane video from a women's soccer match between Korea and China. Yes, I know it's ridiculous when Koreans complain about cheating in soccer, considering their teams have become so expert at it, but this is just unreal:

Two thoughts on this:
1) While the 'beautiful game' can be a spectacular sport, it all too often descends into unintentional farce.
2) I can't wait for the Olympics to see how the Chinese teams and, more importantly, the Chinese fans react when faced with a tight match or certain defeat. To date the experiences of the Koreans and Japanese national teams in China promise high entertainment that the cadres in Beijing haven't written into the script.
