Feel like looking through the test?
The major news sites are posting the college-entrance exam questions and answers throughout the day. The English portion, 3교시, was just made available, in .pdf or .hwp form, as well as a listening portion available as an mp3. Interesting, the fifth period consists of other foreign languages such as German, Chinese, French, and Arab, in addition to Hanja, and I'll be curious to have a look.

i m interested in the actual contents of the tests, has anybody ever translated previous ones and made them available (on the internet)?
also, how many out of the 1/2million+
test takers can make it to one of the SKY univerities or any other colleges / schools,
any statistics?
I haven't listened to the sound files yet, but so far the non-listening portions are . . .well, how to put this? dumb? poorly written? downright awful? So far I haven't found anything completely and utterly incorrect in their English, but the reading passages are filled with awkward, unclear portions. Poor kids!
I take that back: first official grammatically incorrect bit found in question 22 of the English test.
GOD, MAKE IT STOP!
If I were a student, I would be having fits and screaming about the unfairness of taking a test in a language where the text I was supposed to read was so poorly written. Thanks Brian, I've now had my fit of rage at the unfairness of the world today^^
I expect to see the full, spittle-flecking, frothing rant-down at Gomushin Girl within the week.

I don't know if they've been translated. That'd be an ambitious undertaking. With a little Korean knowledge the English portion is self-explanatory. But I, too, would like to have a look at other portions.
I'll poke around for stats about SKY freshmen. I'm also curious to know where they're coming from, specifically how many come out of Jeollanam-do.
