Yes, I know they're a natural monument and all, but you never know around here. Here's the caption of that photo:
Members of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals hold a demonstration against the use of furs, wearing imitation fur coats spattered with fake blood in front of a Jindo Fur store in Donggyo-dong, northern Seoul, Friday.
That's an odd name.

Brian,
your post reminded me that this was on the front page of Yahoo Korea yesterday:
http://kr.news.yahoo.com/service/news/shellview.htm?linkid=16&articleid=2008091809563524201&newssetid=491
I wonder if it was related? I'm too tired to translate sorry.

OMG - you just made my day! PETA is in Korea????????
Even if they are a bunch of sexist female-objectifying bastards ("Tee hee. Look at my boobs, I don't wear fur," says Pam Anderson), at least their campaigns have done a lot for animal rights around the world.
Times are a'changin'
Glad I could help. You didn't know they were in Korea? They have protests and stuff all the time. In Seoul, though.
