As good a day as any for a Hitler political cartoon.

Three guesses which paper ran it.

“None of you move!!” yells President Lee Myung-bak.

In his concentration camp he has the KBS president, the MBC program “The Producer’s Notebook,” Koreans who are charged with encouraging a boycott of companies that advertise with the big three conservative newspapers, “candlelight” protesters, and now, Korean athletes in Beijing.

“I’m not part of the ‘critical elements,’” says this Olympic medalist. Members of the Korean Olympic Team who have completed their events are being kept from returning to Seoul so that they can all return together. It is widely believed that the governemt is supporting the event to create favorable conditions for itself.

Regarding the last part about the Olympics, that same newspaper has a write-up about that situation. I consider myself pretty proficient in English, but I can't make heads or tails of it. Do they want the fucking parade or not? And how is getting a parade of athletes together "going back to the era of authoritarian rule"? Seems to me it would be popular with athletes and with pretty much every Korean. According to the article some people would rather the Korean Olympic Committee invest the money into less-popular sports like handball.
Comments left by some say they wonder what the athletes in less popular events, who did not get medals but are worthy of applause, would think.

No doubt, though, that after the national wave of outrage due up after the Korean women's handball team lost tonight to Norway on a controversial last-second call, they'll be welcomed back as heroes and as tragic symbols of how the world is always out to screw Koreans.

Recently, whenever I see their hysteric attitude against others I feel that they look like a totalitarian like as N.K. It seems that they are seeking an enemy to strength their solidity with yelling “We are justice no matter what happened!!!”. US beef, Dokdo issue, Olympic game…….

A mean spirit of Japan By Chosun Ilbo 2008/Aug/22
http://www.chosunonline.com/article/20080822000008
They are one of the big 3 news paper in Korea as you know.
It says “JP baseball team went into raptures at the news that Korea is next opponent not Cuba.” (I didn’t know that JP team said it until I saw this column.)Then it says at the end “We will shut JP up”
I wonder if they wrote columns and articles depending on Japanese web sites which is a den of anti-Korea????? In my feeling, any decent JP media and peoples are not screaming about it.

As Japanese society was in the mood “Friendly with Korea” these several years, I believed their thoughts against Japan become better than before. (Surprisingly even some of right wing gropes put the word “Friendly with Korea” and both flags on the surface of their black van although it might not be simple reason.) http://yellowpeep.blogspot.com/2006/05/uyoku-obscure-cult.html
However, it seems nothing changed their fundamental mind against JP as far as I saw their persistent and hysteric anti-JP action. Unfortunately I feel that anti-Korea population is little by little increasing in JP recently but it is no wonder. The action to increase anti-Korea population in JP is good tactics for them? It is all greek to me.

1. Jung Yun-joo: Allegedly conspired to drop a case for a tas refund from the gov't in order to secure his reappointment in 2006.

2. PD Such'op: Lied and defamed US cattle ranchers and is still trying to defend its distortions in the courts.

3. Candlelight demonstrators: Beat up ordinary citizens and reporters repeatedly, and sent hundreds of young military consripts to the hospital.

4. ChoJoongDong boycotters: Called up advertisers and made threatening and harrassing comments thousands of times.

5. Olympic champions parade: WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT HANKYOREH?! PULL YOUR FUCKING HEAD OUT YOUR ASS!
