Brian - I just found your post talking about Korean Oldies you found on Naver. I have been trying to find a certain song (somewhat popular on Korean radio), and I think it might be an oldie. It sounds a little like the Hawaii Five-O theme song. Just off the top of your head, can you think of any popular songs that sound a little like the Hawaii Five-O theme song? I heard the song twice while I was in Korea this summer - once live at a Beer Festival in Gyeongju, and the other on the radio while taking a bus through Icheon. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! Doug
Hi, Doug, I remember your post about this song on the Dave's thread. Sorry, I don't know the song you're talking about. I don't know anything about Korean oldies, but I enjoy listening to the songs whenever I can find them. I made that post just to pass along a couple of links. Sorry. Maybe try bumping the thread on Dave's again? Or, check out the Gusts of Popular Feeling blog I linked to. He did a post on older Korean music and seems a lot more knowledgable than me.
