As if there were any doubt the promotional material would feature white women.
In keeping with the local English-language media's practice of alerting people to festivals and events after they've already taken place, Arirang has coverage of the inaugural Bikini Ski Festival (2011 무주리조트 비키니 페스티벌) held in North Jeolla province's Muju county on January 22nd. So, um, I hope you went.

Plenty of pictures available via Naver news and image searches. This is 정현영, who was judged the winner somehow and won 4,000,000원.

(1, 2, and here's a different angle.)
Last February we read about the Jeollanam-do government asking citizens for ideas to boost winter tourism in the southwesternmost province, so I wonder if their neighbors came up with this for a similar reason. Stay tuned to the official Muju Resort website for any updates about a festival in 2012. An annoying tripodesque blog post I found directed those intereted to register on the website a few weeks beforehand or to contact dyshin@mujuresort.co.kr, and said those (women) who entered would be given free passes for the day.

I predict it was one big sausagefest.
I say the media didn't want many peeps there so they could have the little girls in bikinis for themselves.
Obviously they didn't want foreigners there.
Foreigners entered, as you'll see from the image searches.
That's kind of hot, though I feel sorry for people who went there to try to ski. I also feel sorry for the girls who had to ski without the proper snow gear. I bet half of the people wanted to see girls in bikinis while the other half wanted to see a girl in a bikini do a total face plant or get a huge snow enema.
Yep, foreigners definitely entered. I know the foreigner who won 1 million won! Crazy stuff. Oh, Korea.
