Trouble brewing at Chonnam National University Hospital over sex scandal.

From the Korea Times Monday night:
A professor at Chonam National University Hospital resigned Tuesday over accusations that he enjoyed the services of a prostitute at the expense of one of the resident doctors in his charge.

The hospital, located in Gwangju, said that the professor, identified by his family name Lee, tendered his resignation, which was promptly accepted.

In a statement released by hospital authorities, the professor said, “I am resigning, taking moral responsibility for what has been reported as an unsavory transaction between me and my student doctor.”

However, he denied having resident doctors pay for his sexual escapades.

Despite his resignation, the whole storm surrounding him is not likely to end soon. The association of resident doctors was planning to submit a petition to the regional prosecutors’ office to have the case fully investigated.

Doesn't sound like the whole story, because indeed the resident doctor(s) would also be guilty of participating in prostitution.
